Treat yourself! Time to unwind and feel luxuriate, release your stress, tensions and ready for a great weekend! All of us need to relax, find stillness and serenity to escape the stress of city life. If you’re looking for weekend getaway then you’ll get answers of beach diving in Batangas, Zambales, Surfing in La Union and Baler, enjoy the cold breeze in Tagaytay and Rizal, but upon searching, I found this place, a condo style with man-made beach, a touch of luxury type of condo that will surely give you a superb stay!

Azure Urban Resort Residences is a residential project by Century Properties that named first man-made beach in the Philippines. This place has a lot to offer. Perfect with its palm trees and take note this man-made beach condo has natural sand, you will surely feel the beach life without leaving the metro. No need for you to experience long drives, buying of plane tickets to go another place, this place is just within Metro! It is located in Parañaque city, it’s just a short walk from SM Bicutan.

We went here together with my friends right after our work! We arrived around 8pm, we first bought our foods to eat in Supermarket at SM. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to catch the wave and beach pool as the schedule is from 7am to 7pm only. The pools are also closed every Monday for maintenance. So we just woke up early for swimming and memento photos.

Singapore Travel Guide

Singapore is the most developed and advanced country in Asia. It is also one of the most powerful country in the world. Singapore at first glance may describe as a luxury place to live! It has so much to offer in terms of attractions. It’s incessantly progressing and growing with people who are passionate and dedicated in creating new possibilities. As you may know, it is the world’s most expensive cities to live in, it’s the MOST expensive, topping the Economist Intelligence Unit’s report for the fifth year in a row.

I might say that accommodations, transportation and foods are indeed pricier than other Southeast Asian destinations. Their public transportation is so efficient that you can easily get around by train or bus. No doubt, if you try their train, it’s remarkably awesome, it’s right under the ground and if you’ll use escalator it’s more like 3 – 4 times deeper. Public bus? Ah! It’s really different in the bus of my country! How I wish it’s the same in SG. There’s specific pick up and drop off point and specific time as well! How nice, right? It is not like you’ll get along with so many other passengers inside the bus. NO! There’s also a stop button wherein driver will know if there’s passenger who would like to drop off. Cool! Also, you can enjoy a delicious meal for as little as SGD3-5 from one of many hawker centers throughout the city. You must try it!

In other words, don’t let its high standard of living keep you from going here because mind you, Singapore has so much to offer with its various cuisine, world-class and unique attractions, numerous shopping, and lively nightlife. No matter how big or small your budget is, visit Singapore and you’ll soon see and know why it is one of the top tourist destinations in Asia.

Victoria Peak | Hong Kong

Victoria Peak is a extraordinary viewpoint of the city at any time of the day but it is more quaint and picturesque at night. It is also known as Mount Austin of Hong Kong and The Peak, it is where famous actors/actresses, politicians, consul generals, CEO’s and businessmen live. But the main reason tourists visit here is because of its scenic view of the city skyline and Victoria Harbor. You can use the coin-operated telescopes installed at the viewing deck to view the cityscape. The peak is a 554m tall mountain in the western half of Hong Kong island. Victoria Peak is the most visited peak by tourists. Few reasons stated below.

  1. Can visit at day and night
  2. Easy transportation via bus to Victoria Peak
  3. No hiking! No hiking! 😀
  4. Victoria Peak is close to Hong Kong central
  5. Many people want to ride the popular Peak Tram

The Famous Shibuya Crossing | Tokyo, Japan

Also known as “The scramble”, is located in Shibuya, one of Tokyo Japan special spots. Shibuya Crossing! Yeeey! I finally crossed the busiest intersection in the world. It is like a nonstop and a giant beating heart, where sending people in all directions, it’s like you see ants crossed on the streets in every pulsing light change. Well, ” Welcome to Tokyo!”. Hundreds of people, probably thousands at peak times.– cross at a time, coming from all directions. I tell you, once the traffic light turns red, hundreds of people cross, in each direction. Mind you, however, while everything’s look so busy and rowdy, you won’t see chaos in it. So many people cross this junction, it’s simply because its one of the Tokyo’s busiest commercial and business areas. So many sights to see, sounds to hear and music to taste.

A Cuppa Day | Caffè Bene

It’s a new day again! Hey, coffee lovers! This blog is for you.

I have a lot of friends that they can’t live without a coffee, a cup in the morning, another for breaktime and before going to bed. I’m not that a fond of coffee and say “Hey! Want some coffee break?” rather “Let’s go to coffee shop, I want to read book and access free wifi! Hahaha!” but not today, not for this shop.

The peaceful lighting, cozy ambiance and its high ceiling on the floor partners perfectly with your drink of choice and dessert.

Hong Kong Travel Guide | Part 1

TRAVEL CHECKLIST

Let me start my guide with the list of documents we’ve had handy.

  • Passport – Must not expire within the next 6 months upon arrival
  • Documents: Proof of Identification (Company and Government ID will do)
  • Printed Copy of Plane Ticket (Includes the return ticket booking)
  • Printed Hotel Booking (This was checked upon exit from PH immigration. You are required to declare when filling up the immigration form.)
  • Hong Kong Tourist Visa (if applicable) — This is very important to think about when planning any trip abroad. Luckily, tourists from over 160 countries (including the Philippines) do not need a visa to enter Hong Kong.

PRE-DEPARTURE IMMIGRATION AND PROCESS

We filled up a small form (embarkation document) near Immigration entrance; it is a form where in you will be ask to provide your basic personal and destination information. We completed the form and fell in line at the check in counter, then were asked to pay our Philippine travel tax (Php1,620.00), terminal fee of PHP550.00 was already included on the purchased ticket. Make sure before you fall in line at the check in counter, you have already paid the Philippine travel tax of PHP1,620.00 or you can prepay it upon making your reservation, like Cebu Pacific.
